Nigerian tungsten deposits, primarily in the form of wolframite and scheelite, are found in Nassarawa and Plateau states. Tungsten (also called wolfram) has the highest melting point of any metal (3,422°C), making it irreplaceable in high-temperature and wear-resistant applications.
