Zircon sand for ceramics, refractories, and foundry casting. High ZrO₂ content with low radioactivity levels.

Nigerian zircon (zirconium silicate, ZrSiO₄) is found in alluvial and beach sand deposits across the country, often in association with ilmenite, rutile, and monazite. Our zircon is separated through gravity and magnetic processing to produce high-purity concentrates.
Zircon is essential in the ceramics industry as an opacifier and refractory material, and increasingly important as the primary source of zirconium metal for nuclear applications. Our zircon meets the quality specifications of major ceramic tile manufacturers and zirconia producers worldwide.
Certified quality parameters verified by independent laboratories.

Common questions about zircon sourcing and export.
Our zircon concentrate contains 62-66% ZrO₂, meeting the specifications of major ceramic and refractory consumers. Premium grades reach 65%+ ZrO₂.
Standard grade (62-64% ZrO₂), premium grade (64-66% ZrO₂), and nuclear grade with strict limits on Hf, U, and Th content.
Nuclear-grade zircon with low hafnium (<1% Hf) can be sourced from specific deposits. Certificates include full analysis of radioactive elements.
Standard shipments: 20-100 MT in 1MT jumbo bags within 20ft containers. Larger bulk shipments of 1,000+ MT can be arranged for ceramic plant supply contracts.
