Premium tiger nuts (chufa) for horchata production, gluten-free flour, and snack foods. Rich in fiber, healthy fats, and minerals.

Tiger nuts (Cyperus esculentus), also known as chufa, are small tubers prized for their sweet, nutty flavor and exceptional nutritional profile. Nigeria is the world's largest producer of tiger nuts, and our tubers are sourced from the northern guinea savanna where they grow abundantly.
Rich in fiber, healthy oleic acid, vitamins E and C, and resistant starch, tiger nuts are a superfood gaining rapid popularity in European and American health food markets. They are naturally gluten-free, nut-free (they're tubers), and suitable for paleo and AIP diets.

Common questions about tiger nuts sourcing and export.
No, tiger nuts are small tubers (root vegetables), making them safe for people with tree nut allergies. They are naturally nut-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free.
We supply Large (13mm+), Medium (9-13mm), and Small (6-9mm) grades. Larger sizes are preferred for snacking and horchata; smaller for oil extraction.
Our tiger nuts contain 23-28% oleic acid-rich oil, similar in profile to olive oil. Tiger nut oil is excellent for cooking and cosmetic applications.
Store in cool, dry conditions (below 20°C). Dried tiger nuts have a shelf life of 12 months. Avoid moisture to prevent mold growth.
